The directors of Emperor (China Concept) Investments Limited (“the Company”) have noted today’s movement in the trading price of the shares of the Company and are not aware of any reasons for such movement.
It is confirmed that the Company is in negotiation with Chow Tai Fook Nominee Limited (“Chow Tai Fook”), the beneficiary of which is Mr Cheng Yu Tung, in relation to a possible subscription of new shares in the Company by Chow Tai Fook (“Possible Subscription”). Since negotiation is still underway and the final terms and conditions have not been finalised, the Possible Subscription may or may not proceed. The Company will keep the public informed by making further announcement on the progress of the negotiation as and when appropriate.
Except Possible Subscription, there are no negotiations or agreements relating to intended acquisitions or realisations, or any price sensitive matters, which are discloseable.
